Let's check out the ingredients and procedure.

Vermicelli :

I have used the readymade Vermicelli It is better to take fresh Vermicelli and roast it in Ghee rather than use pre-roasted Vermicelli available in the market.

Sugar:

I have used ¾ cup sugar for a Cup of Vermicelli. This is exactly right but if you like it sweeter add more Sugar.

Edible Camphor:

I have not used the edible Camphor, but if you can add a pinch at the very end, if you like the flavor.

Saffron:

The pinch of Saffron that you add to Kesari gives great taste and color naturally. Instead of Saffron, you could add a little red food color.
