GOBI FRY IN SIMPLE METHOD
Hi readers, I am back after a long break with an interesting recipe "Gobi Fry". Today I am blogging the Gobi Fry recipe in a simple method which is quite helpful for beginners. I used to make this Gobi fry as a snack item afternoon time. My family loved to have this Gobi fry as a snack along with hot Ginger Chai. Let us see the procedure and ingredients required.
Ingredients :
1 medium-sized cauliflower, cut into florets.
3-4 spoons Cornflour
3 Spoons maida
1 Spoon Ginger - Garlic Paste
Salt as needed
2 Spoons Red Chilli Powder
1/4 spoon Pepper Powder
1 spring Curry leaves
1 Spoon finely chopped Garlic
1 Spoon finely chopped Ginger
6-7 Green Chillies, slit in the middle into two pieces.
Pinch of food colour(Red) - optional
Procedure :
1. Take a medium Cauliflower, cut it into small florets.
2. Take a vessel, add little water, salt, allow it to boil.
3. Now add Cauliflower florets to this water and keep aside
for a few minutes.
4. Now drain the water, take the florets into a big plastic vessel.
5. Add Cornflour, Maida, salt, ginger-garlic paste, red
chilli powder, Pepper powder, food colour and mix well ,
then toss and coat all the florets well by adding little water.
6. Heat a pan with oil, deep fry until it turns golden brown.
Remove fried florets from the pan into the vessel.
7. Heat another pan with little oil, add finely chopped
garlic, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, let them fry for
few seconds, then add deeply fried cauliflower florets,
fry for a few minutes.
8. Tasty, Crunchy Gobi Fry is ready !!. Transfer it into a
serving bowl, serve it hot to your loved ones.
